Get Fit in No Time at All


To get fit, people have to get their bodies out of the primal comfort zone and into something that fits more with the modern way of life. Making the right choices and exercising is good, but you have to help your body along by eating right as well. You might be tempted to try out different diets which are usually designed to maximize the body's use of fat for energy to burn, but you have to be careful with them because they’re being effective for others may not be of any help to you at all. Extreme diets also tend to starve the body, forcing it to use its reserves and making it unhealthy.

With a strict exercise regimen, it is possible to lose a lot of weight. But if your body goes through the process much too rapidly, you will discover that it will start to crave nourishment. Sweets and other carbohydrate-laden foods will be part of a huge craving that's hard to resist even after you've achieved some success in any fitness program! Practically everyone experiences this.

This tendency to eat after burning calories has been proven through research done on people, like athletes and military personnel, who undergo intense physical training. After a period of continuous and rigid physical activity combined with lack of sleep and measured nourishment, these people tend to lose weight. While this is good from a certain point of view, these subjects were also noted to have lost muscle mass.

Take for instance, the man who once attempted to row solo across the Pacific Ocean. His name is Alex Bellini, and as stated in the news, he lasted for ten months before he called in to be rescued just 65 miles short of his goal in Australia. When he was interviewed by the press, he was very gaunt, having lost 30 lbs since he left Lima, Peru. Bellini had to be carried from his boat. His leg muscles were weak since he had walked no farther than a few meters at a time on his boat. After arriving, he admitted to having a huge craving for sweets and pastries like tiramisu and apple cake! "It made me crazy," he said. "I want all the sweets here in Sydney!"

So, you see what happens if you reach the extreme end of dieting—a tendency to regain what’s lost as fat! Based on research, fat does tend to come back quickly if one gives in to craving that comes after much physical duress experienced during strict dieting and workout. Ideally, dieting has to be done slowly and carefully without taking away the balance in your diet. The golden rule is to burn more calories than you store by exercising or doing activities that will allow you to burn a lot of calories all throughout the day.

Eating well and not starving oneself is what will help in getting you six pack abs the healthy way. If you can walk instead of taking a ride, do so! If you can use the stairs instead of taking the elevator or escalator, do so! Your aim is to get as much action out of your body every day. If you can afford not to take a nap during daytime breaks, do so! If you like video games, let go of the old ones that let you warm your seat for too long and instead, go to a video arcade and play one of those games that let your body move such as air hockey or one of those dance games playable on the Nintendo Wii. The results won't be instant, but with dedication and a conscious effort on your part, you'll see and feel the difference in no time at all!

Six Pack Abs: Get on the Right Track

How do you get six pack abs? We've heard this question time and again and it's likely you've also asked this and searched for the answer yourself over the Internet―which is likely how you came upon this book. Well, the answer is now here in front of you, pure and simple. But again, you have to remember that simply reading this won't give you six pack abs. You have to sweat it!

The problem with most people who want six pack abs is that they do nothing but ask, “How do I get six pack abs?” Even if they've stumbled upon the right answers, they do nothing but think and mull about them. Sure, they talk about the tips and tricks they've heard and read about with friends who also need trimming in the midsection. They do this over beer and potato chips and the result is that they only gain more weight. Only a few actually go out of their way to plan meals, exercise, and actually begin to sculpt their abs.

But of course, not everyone can afford a gym membership or the weights needed for home workouts. So does this mean that those of you who lack the resources will never get to enjoy six pack abs? Absolutely not! Remember that in olden times, there were no gyms or fancy machines that come with them. Sure, gladiators and athletes in ancient times had training areas and equipment, but they had none of the modern mechanical conveniences that we take for granted today. If they were able to get fit without machines, then you can do the same today. 

If you're a fan of those classic kung fu movies of Jackie Chan, you might have an idea of what the athletes-of-old did to train their bodies. Later, you'll learn in detail about exercises that you can do without the benefit of barbells, dumbbells, cables, and plates. Don't worry, there's nothing in there about you having to be slung upside down from your ankles and fill an empty pot between your knees with water from a jar on the ground by doing crunches and using only a pair of noodle bowls! But who's to stop you from doing that kind of cinematic kung fu exercise routine if you can really do it? 

Sweating it out to get your six pack abs is not easy. For the most part, it's really the body that's hard to convince. You know what this means if you've ever tried to get up early in the morning to go to school or work only to remain curled up under the warm sheets. You want to get up, but our body seems to refuse. So, it's not really so much about the mind. So to say that “the mind is willing but the body is weak” really has a lot of truth in it.

It's the same when you need to shake a leg (or belly) a bit to shed some fat from your body. You know you want to, but you feel tired, you feel sleepy, etcetera. Don't worry when you feel those things. It's really your body's way of telling you that it needs you to make it feel the opposite. If you feel tired, it means you need more energy; if you're sleepy, then you need to get your wake-up juices flowing.

So there's a lot of discipline involved, but at this point, you’re already at the second hurdle. You might not know it yet, but you have already successfully gone through the first one, which is getting motivated. Yes, you're already motivated to get six pack abs because you already took the time, effort, and the resources to look for information on how to attain them. Get Six Pack Abs in 5 Steps

If you are looking for a way to get six pack abs there are many easy ways to get started. Remember that to do this it will take time but the rewards will be worth the time and energy.
Let's face it. Both men and women love to have their Abs looking beautiful. Whether you are in bodybuilding or not, having an attractive body attracts more people to you and you feel great. A great looking body is a bonus to your self-esteem and you generate a glow about you that makes people want to know more about you.
In order to get your body looking the way you want it all you have to do is sculpt your body in specific ways. Here are 5 steps to help you get that six-pack abs:
1. Take a look at what you eat -- eat a diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables and eat small meals rather than larger ones. You can eat vegetables, pasta and meats but make sure they are in the same proportion. As an example, you might eat 1/3 vegetable, 1/3 meat and 1/3 pasta at a serving
2. Concentrate on body fat -- to get your abs looking great you will need to shed your body fat. You can make sure you eat well, then do a combination of weight training and cardio training each week. A good rule of thumb is to do weight training 3 days and cardio the other 4 days.
3. Drink water -- you want to keep your body hydrated during the time you are working it and when you drink more water, you have less water retention and have a better start towards those six pack abs.
4. Rest -- you need to make sure that you get rest during the day. Short naps are great or however you don't have to lie down and sleep. You just want to take time to do something restful. It keeps stress away.
5. Be consistent -- when you start working on your program make sure to schedule it into your regular routine. If you are inconsistent with your process you will not make the headway that you want.
You might think that doing crunches or sit-ups are the best way to make your abs look better. That was the way that people thought years ago but today this simply isn't true. It is better to work the entire body because it will promote a total body sculpting so your body will be in proportion.
Another good way to help you form that six-pack abs is to make sure you are burning enough calories when working on your abs is to do interval training. This means you might start on a treadmill and run for a short time then quickly go into walking. Combined with dead lifts or plank exercises will give you a total workout.
Practice of course makes perfect and the more you work and anything you do will require a lifestyle change. If you change your routine even a little to start, you will be well on your way to achieving your goal.
